These came with my '04 Civic when I bought the car 2 months ago (the tires
were brand new, replacing the original Firestones). They're average at
best, and likely not a long lasting tire. I currently have my Toyo...

Timing Belt / interference engine ( 98 Accord) by
[email protected]
Hi;
I'm new to this group. I would like advice/opinions on a 1998 Honda
Accord.
I just bought this car used with 128,000 miles. It was through a dealer
so
there is no way I can get service records.
How difficult is it to change the timing belt on the 2.3L I-4 ?
I had a 1984 Accord quite some time...

Engine ping on 2.2VTEC on 97 Accord by
[email protected]
I have a 97 accord with 200K miles. For over 30K, I have been
experiencing engine ping at part throttle. Two mechanics haven't been
able to find anything wrong during general inspection periods.
I recently had a tune up and valve adjustment which didn't do anything.
I tried a bottle of techron in...

Brake pedal traavel after caliper replacement by

I just had the rear calipers replaced on my '95 civic si. I
immediately noticed when braking that my brake pedal seemed to sink
about twice as far to the floor as it used to. I've owned this car
since new and have never experienced this much brake pedal travel. The
e-brake also pulls all the way...

Oil in radiator - 1998 Accord by
[email protected]
I have 85,000 miles. 4 cylinder & 5-speed manual. I take good care of
the car and never had any problems. Did the maint and a few small
repairs like CV boots, etc. The radiator fan must have failed an it
overheated rapidly. I shut it down fast.
The car was fine but I had oil in the radiator....

PCM problem? 99 Accord followup by
hdieter
The check engine light came on 3 times in our 99 Accord LX sedan 2.3L
(152,000 miles) in the last month. First it was just the gas cap, then
the evap canister and other parts were replaced and I was told it must be
something else like the PCM. This was the computer readout from my local
repair...

Parasitic Drain - Bulb Trick by
sharx333
Just wanted to ask:
Is the "light bulb" test (putting a 12v bulb in series with the battery
circuit) an accurate test for a parasitic drain? My ammeter only goes
up to 0.25A, and I don't want to risk overloading the meter.
How bright should the bulb light up, if it should at all, for a
"normal"...

I have a 97 accord with an a/t. There is a strange noise coming from the
engine. The noise is constant and it is similar to what you hear when you
engage the first gear or to a lesser extent the reverse gear on a stick

I'm about to install a new power window regulating assembly on my '97

lubricated? Some paste wax maybe? something with silicone? any
suggestions or leave it clean and dry.
