Guess on horsepower??? by
Willis
Good afternoon all,
Maybe this is an amateur question, but based on the build specs below,
does anybody have a rough idea (or ballpark guess) of what kind of
horsepower this engine could generate? I have yet to get my car dyno'd.
If it's something that can't be figured out just by looking at the...

Proctologically Violated©®
Awl--
I happen to have a 2004 Nissan Frontier pickup, auto, but this is a general
Q:
I assume that the hydraulics in auto transmissions are (now) electrically
actuated, judging from the gear "drop-down" button on the shift handle.
Is there thus a way to control or over-ride *all* the gears in an...

Both of these engines combust fuel and a non-reciprocal motion
occures. Both cases produces a circular motion.
However both of these engines are quite different. What explains the

Doc

Buy cheapest gasoline? by
J J
There have been numerous articles saying there is no difference between
cut rate and major brand gasoline. They say buy by price alone.
The few times I have purchased cheap no brand name gasolines I have
regretted it. Car is hard to start, or when running it runs rough, it
pings under load....

How Many Miles Are A Lot? by
phaeton
....on modern cars.
I realize that driving habits and how well you take care of the car is
the single biggest factor that affects how long it lasts. Sure, some
cars are real stinkers, but have any of those been made in a while?
Seems that when I was a little kid (think mid-late 70s, think...

Car horn question by
[email protected]
Actually, two questions...
Just how is the noise produced? I know that large air horns,
sirens and such produce the sound by blowing compressed air
through holes, like playing a wind instrument, but how is the noise
produced in a normal car horn?
And as far as the circuitry, I noticed a while...

handy to some
of you.
You can search for certain types of businesses, not just auto related, on
nationwide, state or
