Damaged driver's side mirror? by [email protected]
Today I took my 2000 Accord through one of those automated car washes that use hanging cloth straps. Unfortunately one of those straps wrapped around the driver's side mirror and gave it a yank. The mirror and the housing around it are now slightly crooked, as if perhaps the hinge is broken or...

del Sol Power Steering Question by Front Office
My girlfriend's '94 del Sol needs new seals on its power steering unit. It doesn't look like that big of a sweat to do it myself. (The local garages and dealers all want ~$500.) Question: Does taking the pump apart and replacing the gaskets and seals involve special tools? Or is this a fairly...

Civic Hood Latch Handle Broke by [email protected]
Group, The handle for the hood latch on my Civic came off in my hand. The main plastic hande broke off and left some of the plastic back on the release cable end. I have to use plyers to open it but I think this would turn a potential buyer off when I sell. How do I change the handle? ...

My friend does not know jack about cars and I bought a brand new battery for my car. I went into the house to use the bathroom and he tried to put the battery in the car by himself. He connected the positive to the negative and negative to the positive. He said when he did it, there were sparks....

Disc Brake Rotors by Armand
The breaks pulsate on my 96' Accord. Should I have them resurfaced or replaced since I'm sure they have been resurfaced a few times in their history? The Honda dealer wants $249 to replace them. Should I look into having a local mechanic do the job and maybe save a few bucks? Thanks.

Hi, I am trying to extract error codes (DTC) from the OBD-II without using a scan tool from my 98 accord (125k miles) by making the Check Engine Light (aka MIL) to spit out the codes by short/long blinks. Looks like I need to jumper some pins on the DLC connector so that the codes are redirected...
